Encourage your child to go running or better yet play a sport and make exercise a part of his/her life; in fact it’s a great idea to accompany him/her in a sport or jog. In times like this you need maintain a fine balance between being a friend who listens to your teen’s woes and a parent who guides them through this with advice and support.
